Hmm, well I don't know how happy or perfect this is but I met my SO when I was hitting on her good friend (still good friend).
It ended up that I lost interest in her friend (because she was just too finicky as a person) and my SO and I became better friends. We spent a lot of time learning about each other before we realized that we wanted to be together.
We've been together for 11 months now and it's fabulous.
