As a Suns fan, I'm a little biased, but I think he definitely deserved it. It was neck and neck between him and Yao, but when the Suns beat out the Rockets for the playoff spot, I think Amare beat out Yao at the same time. Plus, his outstanding performance in game 1 vs. Duncan showed that he deserves it.
