I use Windows XP for day-to-day work in the office. I have a 15" PowerBook G4 for mobile use. It connects to everything (Windows, UNIX, AppleTalk), runs PC software (using Virtural PC), runs X-Windows and UINX apps, and runs native (Aqua) OS X apps like Photoshop.
You can't go wrong with these new Macs. Aside from the price that is.
