I'm terrified of dentists, since I, too, am a pussy. I thought I cracked my tooth when I moved to the NE - but put off doing anything about it for about 18 months. Finally, I decided to get it checked. The asshole dentist walked in for all of 15 seconds and said "well, let's schedule a root canal". I did - and never went. Another year later, I tried a different place. This dentist spent a lot more time checking things out and said "you might need a root canal, but we won't know until we're in there."
Ultimately, I didn't need one - but it's a deep ass filling. And he has cautioned me that if the tooth starts to hurt, I *will* need one. I took the day off all the same.
Jeebus, I'm shuddering here.

It's not a bad as I made it seem. I was just a little pissy for a couple of hours and sore but it doesn't compare to the pain that made me go in the first place. Maybe you'll get lucky. It seems that almost every other person here has a hot dentist or hot dental assistants. That would be nice wouldn't it? Good luck
