The sonys have good battery lifes, but poor receptionm, bad gaming performance too nokias have good reception, good battery life, good gaming. audiovox/curitel are ok, they feel a bit cheap.
out of all the cellphones i have , i can't say theres one i am really happy with, although sprint ( which isnt available up there i think) has some of my favourite the A600 is great, pity sprint sucks
I liked the p800 then i realised it had so many bugs, started using the T610 and its really slow though its built really well. and bad reception, back to the a600
Verizon ( again not available i dont think ) carries the A600 on their version which is the A610, identical phones cept for service type and j2me vs brew.
Nokia 7210, wierd keyboard, small, great battery , good performance
3650 clunky very wierd keyvoard, ok battery life, great performance.
i bounced my A500 off the ground from ear height on a concrete worked great after, droped my audiovox 8500 and LG 6000 two feet on to carpet and they both died.
T720 is a drop and explode, you can put it back together, however the phone itself sucks
the S/E T300 is great battery, and good reception and small too
Nokia has the 3586 coming out soonish that is encased in a thickish rubber case.
You'll probably end up with a tri band phone.
Best thing is to get a small light cheap phone if you are klutzy and put it in one of those thicker leather cases designed for it, nearly all cell phones seem to self destruct.
