Yes it is a single shot, but they always say, "You only need 1 shot."
It takes average of 4-5 minutes, depending on your sights/scope. This is if you have sights/scope on your gun already and sighted in.
If you are cheap like me, then you get a nice scope, with some things called "Quick-Release" Rings. You can use these to "quickly" take your scope off one barrel and throw it on another. After sighting it in with on one barrel you either write down, or mark on the scope where to move the adjustments.
Of course you have to buy scope bases for both barrels.
Back to removing the barrel, all you have to do is remove the forend, then there is a hinge-pin holding the barrel into the action. It is easily removed with a punch or even a pen would work. The forend holds the hinge-pin, so there is no worry of the barrel ever falling off.
