Edit: *Accutane worked, but did not have lasting effects. When I got off it, the acne slowly came back.

My dermatologist said that the longer your 'run' of acne is, the less chance there is of having to do a second cycle of it. Of course this is harder for some folks, as the side-effects can be pretty harsh sometimes. I've pretty much gotten used to them by now though, less than a month left, yeay!
