Hopefully this doesn't get me misidentified as a warez-begger (especially since it's my first real post
...). My motives really are
totally legit.
I want to import one (or more) of the Japanese PS2 games "DrumMania" or any of the "Guitar Freak/DrumMania" combo games to the US.
These games require the game (obviously
), and also a special drum pad controller. I'd like to find a game importer or somebody who can sell me these things fairly cheap -- I've found a couple people who will do it, but their prices seem extortionate (upwards of $250 for just the controller and one game). Can anybody offer any insights or recommendations?

Also, I need to buy a mod chip to enable my system to read the Japanese disks. I don't care (seriously!) whether it will play CD-Rs, I just need it to play imports. Would anyone like to recommend a particular modchip for my needs? I can pick one out of a list fairly blindly, but it's enough money that I don't want to make a mistake.
