At the Drive-In are listed as "experimental Post-punk" by the Fearless Records website (
www.fearlessrecords.com) and in their catalogs. They were a great band. I own every ATDI record made, and I still think that their work as a group was better than their side projects, although I would have to say that I like Mars Volta better because I love Cedric's voice and Omar's guitar playing is so non-linear. As a guitar player myself, I love to listen to what Omar brings to the table and where he will go with basic chords. he is extremely inventive.
