This is just the beginning for Kobe. Regardless of whether he is found guilty or not, this is going to be ugly for everyone concerned. Details like this will continue to come out and many people won't take the time to wait to see if it's true. They'll believe what they want to believe and remember what they want to remember.
One person reports it and it becomes fact for some people. Just because Matt Drudge said it, doesn't mean it's true.
I'm sure that some won't care what is said about Kobe, but I'm sure Sprite isn't thrilled about finding out that their spokesperson likes tapping the booty with reluctant 19 year olds.
The trial may determine his guilt or innocence...but I think the public will rely on whatever dirty laundry is brought out.
