Jordan definitely has a problem with creating women characters, and apparently making things happen in his precious world. Any other writer could do a complete book in the space Jordan has dedicated to hair-tugging.
I am all caught up on the series, and will finish it (if Jordan does), but the books have been getting worse and worse for awhile now. He just drones on and on about crap, and when something does happen, it's squished into a few pages and described as poorly as possible.
I would love to be able to analyze the stuff more, but I would have to quite my job and design some serious software to be able to decipher everything. And if I was going to do that for a book it would be for Gravity's Rainbow way before the WoT.
