I think it's rather depressing that VinnyWS6 hasn't replied, owned up to doing wrong, or anything like that since his post about living on "Ling island."
As one of the "younger generation" (still in college, in my early 20s), I find you to be a very depressing sign of those younger than myself. You remind me of my little brother (though he doesn't smoke pot - thankfully). He got fired from his dream job because he goofed around constantly and refused to help the customers. Who does he blame? The company.
Kid, you fucked up good and proper. It sounds like the company was doing you a real favor for hiring you with no interview, etc. So you did the crap jobs. Are you certified as an auto mechanic? They can't let you work on the cars until you are. Even if you did nothing but sit around and watch, it's an awesome job to have - you learn a lot.
The damage to the cars can be repaired. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's a hassle. And yes, it will probably cost them business. However, shit happens. This happened, according to the post date, 12 days ago. I can only hope that in the mean time you've gone back and owned up, but if I was your boss, if after two weeks you still hadn't come back, apologized for what you did, and offered to work off the debt, there's no way in hell I'd ever hire you back or recommend you.
Anyways, I needed to rant after reading this whole thread, though most of it had already been said. You piss me off, as you're the sort of person that gives all of us "young adults" a bad name.
