That's a better interpretation. It still seems like powder keg waiting to blow though. Anything about "Americans" is going to be a stereotype, and offend someone.
It would be interesting to see how we are viewed by other countries, non-biased reporting of public opinions with no discussion on the accuracy of the beliefs only the reasons for their existance.
