Why do we broadcast pictures of Guantanamo Bay?
We do it to show that we have prisoners there.
Why do they broadcast pictures of POWS?
They do it to show that they have POWS.
Why do we broadcast pictures of dead opponents?
To prove that they are dead.
Why do they broadcast pictures of dead Americans?
To prove that they killed some.
We both comlain when the other side broadcasts demoralizing images, but we still do it. Our sides aren't all that differant.
