If he couldn't afford it, I wouldn't be pissed.
But he said, he's not
willing to spend the money, that means he has the money, but doesnt want to spend it on the cats life.
There is a big difference between someone not being able to AFFORD it and someone not willing to spend it when they can afford it.
IF he can't afford it, he could sell his computer to pay for it.
