Had (still have but it's currently downchecked for various reasons) a '76 Jeep CJ-5. Straight 6, 3-spd manual, nothing special, but I don't get stuck in it, and it's great fun in the sand. I currently drive an '87 Trooper II. Crap for power, but it's got the right gearing, so it gets me around for work. As I have to visit the sticks on occassion, it does what it needs to. It's downchecked right now too due to a blown head that I'm halfway through replacing.
Story of my life to have old trucks downchecked for one reason or another. I think my life would be incomplete without some old clunker eating up what little spare time I have.
