Pre-Military Excersise Routine?

I'm thinking about joining our illustrious armed forces, but as a computer geek I'm *completely* out of shape.

I've started by running 3 miles every other day. Those days I don't run, I do some simple bench-presses, situps, and pushups.

Anybody have ideas how I could improve my routine to match military standards?
