ah, the problem here is hte involvement of another person. The idea of monogamy is that sexual gratification should be receieved only from yourself or your significant other. so. If cyber-sex involves gratification via another person, then it's cheating. There could be large arguments here concerning who is providing the gratification, since w/ cybersex it's usually achieved via masturbation and/or imagination.
like someone up above said, if you wouldn't do it with your SO's full knowledge, then you probably shouldn't do it.
