This has definitely happened before, with about 25% of memories not pleasing. And talk about being a computer nerd...whenever I think of the smell of my first computer (a Power Mac 6100/60) right out of the box, or if I get a very slight whif of something similar, I instantly get a really vivid memory regarding the night that I first opened her up, after coming home from a boy scouts meeting.

I don't think that I'll ever forget that smell, because that computer shaped my character and personality, having ridiculously far-reaching effects on my psyche.
