Your statistician put Reagan and Bush together in those statistics in a very self-serving way, as Bush curtailed much of the out of control spending and tax-cutting of Reagan, implying that both presidents were more fiscally disciplined than Clinton. Unfortunately, geep, you are missing the fact that Bush was paying for Reagan's excesses with tax increases and defense cuts. I'll have to wait for tomorrow at work (
