about a year or 2 ago my family's home was broken into while we visited relatives for thanksgiving. They stole some guns my dad had from the navy (he doesnt believe in using guns, so no big loss..plus they didnt work), and a radio i had. It was a nice portable 3disc changer radio too.. *shrugs* oh well.. Here's the funny part. I have a few grand worth of mint comics in box in my old bedroom, that the radio was sitting on. I also have 2 computers in that room, and had about 200 bucks cash in a jewlerybox about 3 feet away. Stupid thieves.
Here is another funny story of mine about thieves..
Last year my mom and dad were asleep and my mom wakes up because she hears a noise outside. She wakes my dad up and says "Bill..did you lock the garage?" My dad who comes in late at night goes something like "ggnnhhf.. yeah" and rolls over to go back to sleep, but she keeps buggin him to get up and go see what it is. My dad gets a robe on goes out to the garage to sees someone poking around in there trying to steal his work equipment (drills, air compressor, etc..). He says "Hey get out of my garage!" and chases them ..but the theif is on a bike and is peddling down the aalley behind my house. My dad chased him a half a block and tackled him off the bike and took his coat and hat. When they guy saw that my dad was pissed he just ran like hell. My dad then took the guys bike, and back at my house attached his coat and bicylce to a laundry post with a chain and padlock. The next week my dad sat in my old bedroom staking out the bicycle waiting for the guy to come back to get his stuff. I think he was going to hit him in the head with a hammer or something.. Eventually my mom washed the coat and gave it to goodwill, but my dad still keeps the bike in the garage as his trophy
