You're going to be much more successful meeting women in a group, place, institution if you're not there
only to meet women. Sure if you're looking for something short-term go the bar/nightclub route. If you want something more real and much hotter in the long run try school, work, church, clubs, societies, etc. Meet there then take her out to the pubs, rock show, theater, whatever. Be friendly, nice, self-mocking (no pity though), and complimentary (do
not smother).
