Hot and muggy? Take a very HOT shower. Opens the pores, increases blood circulation, starts you sweating and helps your body COOL itself.
If you're in heat distress, THEN use a cold shower to rapidly lower body temp., followed by increasingly warmer water to promote circulation.
btw... I take hot showers year 'round, all weather.
