I think that if prospective parents would rather kill off abnormal children, they're obviously not prepared for the responsibilities and risks inherent in parenthood and shouldn't be having children. I mean, what if they have a normal child who then has an accident and becomes retarded, or disfigured? Will they try to surreptitiously dispose of it into a dumpster or down a flight of stairs? It's pathetic.

But I might feel a bit more sympathetic if I had more sleep.
