If not, check socket that connects the faceplate to the unit. I've seen debris and bent contacts do what you're describing.
Also try moving the harness around, shake it and wad it up without the radio connected. If the fuse doesn't blow, it probably isn't the wiring.
Open the radio case and look for loose wires and scorch marks were something may have shorted. If you bought the radio new, take it back before opening it up. It should still be under warranty if it's been less than a year.
What is happening with the inline fuse between the radio and the fuse panel?

i think in my previous post i meant the face plate, when i take that off the radio turns off
nothings in the faceplate connector either.

are you referring the fuse on the back of the radio? it's still fine and functional not blow.
