I wanted to start a specific thread about this. This is the best graphic novel I've EVER read.

They are much different than normal super heroes. They don't take shit and aren't particularly associated with any one country.

They basically say, "We are more powerful than all you bitches combined, so listen to us or face the consequences". They have a huge ship in orbit controlled by the Engineer (badass woman with huge nanite control). They are all high level super heroes. The Doctor can do massive magic and turn everything and anything into whatever he wants.

The engineer has massive nanite tech, and can kind of mech warrior into anything she needs. Swift is the only meh one of the bunch. But then again she can fly 300+ mph and has claws/talons. IIRC she's the pilot, super reflexes. So she's no slouch. She's basically the weakest and could probably take on batman.

Basically its a superhero story about extremely powerful super heroes (some of which are gay, (Midnighter and Apollo forever <3) and what they do with that power. Its none of that patriotic BS like captain america. They basically make world wide broadcasts and you better fucking listen. They have a massively high tech spaceship in orbit. They're all practically demigods. Its very interesting.

Jenny Sparks is master over electricity and is immortal for a century (until a new one is born).

Jack Hawksmoor is basically a demigod of cities.

Why hasn't a movie or HBO series been made of this?
