Ok, that's an odd goal, but to be clear you want a suit of armor that can withstand a real sword blow? Use 12 gauge tempered steel. You'll need a small armory to make it though. And it will take a *long* time. My first suit which was a rush job took me about a week or
84 hours. And that was with something easier to work with (plastic).
edit keep in mind it wont do shit vs bullets. a .38 +P would probably go right through.
