I adore a good biscuit with honey and some fruit. If it's cold outside, I dig a pancake or two with honey and a veggie sausage patty or a few thin slices of rashers. The thing about waffles is that I despise belgian-style waffles... by this I mean the depth of the wells in the waffles. I've looked everywhere, but I cannot find another one that makes them more like the eggo-style, for lack of a better comparison, I had one about 8 years ago. I like my waffles thin and super crisp. If I could find one of those, I'd have waffles every day.

But, my favorite of all time has to be crepes with lemon juice and powdered sugar.

S loves biscuits and straight up southern sausage gravy, any kind of eggs benedict, an Irish breakfast if hung over (two eggs, potatoes, white and black puddings, rashers, baked beans, grilled tomatoes and a chunk of brown or soda bread), or pancakes.

I'm pretty boring with my breakfasts, but I prefer the savory flavors that come with lunch and dinner.
