I don't get you Aussies, really a sickie? A sick day, is harder to say? Just like crim right, you can't say crimINAL. 
After reading
and getting laid off, I realized that my superhuman non-sick day taking stuff was just silly.
If I am sick. I take a sick day. In fact right now I'm out on a sick day, but because of blackberry and internet I've still answered emails and took phone calls. I used to only take sick days if I was close to being hospitalized.
Now, if I'm even a little under the weather, I'm out sick.
