when i hook up a jam at my place,i always let the neighbours now i'm havin' a party and that the instruments will be LOUD.but ,i usually tone it down around 11 or 12 and that's when we bring out the acoustic guitars and mellow out a bit.
been doin' that for years and have never had a prob with the cops or neighbours.
thrown some wild parties too,and sometimes the guy next door wants to play as well.
