When I saw your thread title I feared the worst of all fears that GM was again delving into their eternal wisdom and coming back out with the original X cars, the Citation/Skylark/Omega/Phoenix "X-body" platform. Whew!
I like these new Chevy's a lot. If you need a factory-ready-made track car these are nice.
You can also still get the Viper Competition Coupe in the same vein, as well as a Ford or two though I'm not up on the specific Ford models.
