--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Food has never been something that I monitor very closely. I eat when I am hungry, and cook whatever suits me at the time. I've cooked bland meals for my flavor-despising mother, prepared rich feasts for groups of 30+, and spent copious amounts of free-time reading recipes in an attempt to better understand flavor combination and ethnic trends. Yet, in the past few weeks I've come to realize that rice, corn flakes, and convenience foods have become my main dietary components. Sure, I'll take some extra effort and come up with something delicious for a potluck or a special meal, but these have amounted to no more than a real meal once a week. I'm fed up with it. I want to eat better.
I've mapped out dinners for the next month: a list by day, paired with recipes. I've focused on quick vegetarian meals with lots of flavor and few ingredients. Hopefully I'll stick to it. I'll keep you updated.
