TFP is very unique in many respects. NSFW is used as a means of warning that the main content is not safe for work, but you are right about the avatars. Any page is potentially NSFW due to avatars. Anyways, some people come here during work because their jobs are boring as hell. I remember that when I was a database programmer (sort of) last summer, I spent most of my time doing other things, maybe... say 70% of the time actually working, 30% of the time goofing off.
