I had a headache for three weeks once. It was caused by whiplash from falling off a horse. I couldn't sleep, one side of my face was hypersensitive, the other side of my face was numb, and my balance was getting bad. It was miserable.
One visit to the chiropractor released the headache and got me sleeping again. A few more visits kept that dull ache from coming back after a long day.
A chiropractor might be worth a try!
