Is anyone else looking forward to this movie? It's the next film by Gaspar Noé, who wrote and directed Irréversible (
trailer). Apparently, Enter the Void will be even more visceral, and probably even more polarizing.
Quote:
Oscar and his sister Linda, recent arrivals in Tokyo. Oscar is a small time drug dealer, and Linda works as a nightclub stripper. One night, Oscar is caught up in a police bust and shot. As he lies dying, his spirit, faithful to the promise he made his sister - that he would never abandon her - refuses to abandon the world of the living. His spirit wanders through the city, his visions growing evermore distorted, evermore nightmarish. Past, present and future merge in a hallucinatory maelstrom.

If that doesn't grab you, the score is composed by one half of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, who also scored Irréversible. The opening credits (which are set to "Freak" by LFO, not Bangalter's score) were recently put online, and they only make me more anxious for this film to be released in the US.
(As with Irréversible, people who are susceptible to epileptic seizures need not apply. In other words, if that's you, don't watch
)
