My house is 2400 square feet. Me and my wife and my dog so 1200 square feet each.
We used to live in an 800 square feet apartment and it was plenty though we really needed 1 more bedroom for guests.
1,500 would be about right. But I couldn't resist the offer of my house at $60 a square foot.
