There are places here where you can drive much longer than that without seeing another car
. Northwest Nevada and Eastern Oregon both have lots of places where there are warning signs when leaving populated areas so that people know how far it is to the next gas station. I've been on a few of these backroads, and the nice thing is that at least in Nevada, the speed limit increases
