That's what State Hwy 27 in Western Kansas is for.

Or US Hwy 60 across New Mexico.

You can cruise for five or ten or twenty miles at 100+ which you can't do on a track. I'd never drive like that on the East coast,

but some places out West you can drive for half an hour, and not even see another car.
I always chicken out at about 120mph, but my SAAB 9-5 speedo goes to 160, and some day I'll get it there.
