Agreed. Swapping home-made videos with your SO can be quite erotic. Maybe he is thinking along these lines but needs some impetus from you to broach the subject. Approach him in a spirit of fun and erotic exploration. It might just come (eh) to be fun for you both....
Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it. With all the easy ways there are to film yourself these days, he probably just did it for a laugh anyway.
