My wife has Crohn's Disease and she had a full blown colonoscopy done and she said it was nothing. She was actually awake during it and she still said feeling it poking around wasn't uncomfortable or painful at all. The worst is the laxative mix shit they make you take beforehand, but undiagnosed Crohn's Disease is basically that bad anyway so it wasn't that bad for her.
