hmm I've had a few of these procedures on account of my colitis. I can't say it was particularly pleasant. since I don't want to put you off, I won't go into it. Just make sure they sedate you right, and you get to nod off. I definitely wouldn't want to be awake for it if I'm sedated. I think it's better to either go cold turkey or be knocked out completely. Inbetween was pretty difficult for me. Good luck, it will be over before you know it! And yes, the prep sucks big time. Sorry, can't sugar coat it.
Edit: How long ago did you start the prep? Sometimes it takes a while. You still don't feel the urge to go? Uuuuh. You will.
