You could do a tour in the Kimberley region - I'd suggest this isn't an area that you want to do without serious amounts of gear. Think desert without much in the way of population. My parents have been and said it was amazing, but you really don't want to break down out there.

Mainland US - check (though I've only been on the west coast).
Hong Kong - check
Other places I'd like to go:
UK - Scotland mainly (for my heritage - and the castles).
East coast US
I'm happy where I live. Someone mentioned an hour north of Sydney - that's pretty much me, almost exactly an hour on the train from the middle of sydney
