I dont think its easy.
The truth is that sometimes there *can* be two sides to a story, but if what she has told you as substantially true (which am in no way disputing btw) I personally couldnt deal with it in way other than violence.
I dont think that course should be recomended, but if it does go down dont let it happen in a way hat can screw your life up (ie - witnesses, him being able to identify you after the beating, going to far and for want of a better term having blood on your hands) - dont let the consequenes desroy YOU
