ok. three basic problems. i'd really appreciate the help
i'm not sure about comp stats, but nothing so obsolete that it cant handle powerpoint. heh.
-how can you make it so that manual advance to the next slide during a slideshow by clicking anywhere on the slide is disabled and the only way to change slides is via pushing buttons?
-when i password protect; both to make it read-only as well as the opening of the program, everything get's so slow. any way to lessen stress on ram? actually, even when i disabled both passwords, it starts slowing down like CRAZY. And the file itself is no larger than 200kb and all the sound files associated are external. Any tips?
I've restarted, and so far i haven't touched the security options, and everything's running smoothly. Yet, i would prefer to use passwords. so any ideas?
-ok. so in this presentation, the background is an imported picture of my desktop which has a few icons on it. I wan't to make it so that when you click on one of the icons, the button that is behind it (not visible) will be activated and the in document hyperlink will become activated. if this is not possible, how can I make it so that just a mouseover itself will activate the button? because i've tried this but it won't work because i think that the button has to be on the uppermost layer. I even tried to look for an option that makes the button transparent, but no luck. any ideas?
thanks again for all the help!
