Honestly, it surprised me a bit as well. It's all about the egos and the money, and I can understand why the FOTA teams would want this. The FIA has the commercial rights and maybe the tracks, but the big names are all with FOTA. I think that the fans will be more in support of the FOTA teams, but it will depend on their ability to organize exciting and accessible races. Overall though, history does not bode well...
