The U.S. census historical poverty tables go back to 1959 and tell the opposite story you do. Poverty levels for blacks seem to be at 55% in 1959 and have since fallen to about 24%. I'm not sure where your data is coming from. I also don't know where you get the notion that blacks don't value the family unit and are
happy with baby-daddies.
