In some states, it's legal to use the white lines, generally when traffic's at a snail's pace. I don't like and my partner knows not to try-smacks to the helmet are very loud and can cause whiplash
We've come close to getting hit a few times-something like 80% of car/bike accidents are caused by the driver of the car.

Old women in Buicks, specially if there's more than one in the car. They can't do the speed limit, they don't pay attention at all and they take forever to start moving.
Anyone else notice that people in big ass Lincolns and Mercedes never yield, never use their signals and don't know what the line in the middle of the road is for?
