I don't watch a lot of TV, but there are some campaigns that stick out to me. One thing I will say is that whichever agency Molson is using, they better be well paid. For whatever reason, their commercials tend to be memorable to me.
The bottom line: they certainly know their market.
I think much of it has to do with the commercials' ability to tap into our "Canadianness" in light of being bombarded by so many American ads. They resonate emotionally, and with humour.
Here are three examples. I don't really like Molson Canadian, as I don't typically drink mass-produced beer. But if I had to choose one, it would likely be it...yes, as a result of their advertising.... *shudder*
