The way my friends always got me to ask girls out is by ridiculing me until I finally did it. When they tried to give me a positive encouragement, it never seemed to work, but if they told me I was a big pussy who was too scared to just ask out a girl, it always pushed me to do it. Sometimes a challenge your friends put in front of you works better than anything else.
