Best advice: just get out there. Do things that require interaction with other people. Job seeking, looking for a lost dog, finding a SO... it's all about 50 times easier when you network. Even if you don't directly interact with women, being aquainted with a massive number of people will land at least one or two who are trying to find someone else a bf.
In short: just meet as many people as possible, male or female. Any activity, vacation, or job that requires you to talk to people is a good plan.
